Here is an information about The 67th Annual Exhibition of Shoso-in Treasure
Shoso-in is a very old wooden storage and it contains many kinds of treasures
like paintings, pottery, sword, lacquer, instrument, written document and so on.
Most of the treasures were made in Nara Period(8th century) .
As some of them were imported from China or Persia,
Shoso-in is called eastern end of the sik road.
Annual Exhibition of Shoso-in is held every fall and
we enjoy those beautiful and precious treasures only during this period.
If you have a chance to visit Nara during this period,
I strongly recommend to go to this exhibition.
