Cosmos at Fujiwara Palace

You can enjoy seasonal flowers at Fujiwara Palace as follows.

Spring: canola flower
Summer: lotus flower and cosmos sulphureus (yellow cosmos)

Autumn: cosmos (pink and white cosmos)

I visited there this autumn and had a good time to see lots of cosmos.

Apparently about three million cosmos are planted in this area.
When they are fully in bloom all around, as if they were flower carpet.The view is awesome! 

I can't wait to visit there to see canola flower next spring.

Get off Miminashi station(Kintetsu Osaka Line) or           

Unebi station(JR Sakurai Line) and walk aprox. 30 mins.

Take city community bus from Yamato Yagi station(Kintetsu Kashihara Line and Osaka Line) and get off at fourth bus stop "Fujiwarakyo Shiryoshitsu-mae".
