Although now is the rainy season in Japan, I strongly urge you to go outside to admire beautiful hydrangea. This rainy season must be a fabulous one for you.

Nara has many places that is famous for hydrangea.
I introduce some of them in this blog.

Yatadera Temple in Yamato Koriyama city



There are about 60 different kinds and 10,000 plants of hydrangea in this temple. That's why it is called hydrangea temple.

Take Nara Kotsu bus for Yatadera from Kintetsu Yamato Koriyama station. It takes approx 20 mins from Kintetsu Yamato Koriyama Sta. to Yatadera.







Hasedera Temple in Sakurai city


Hasedera Temple has various kinds of seasonal flowers like cherry blossom, peony, hydrangea, lotus flower and so on. So this temple is known as flower temple.

There are 20,000 plants of hydrangea in this temple.

It takes approx. 15 mins to walk from Hasedera Temple Sta. of Kintetsu Osaka line to the temple.






Nana-magari-zaka in Yoshino 

This area is also famous for cherry blossom. There are 4,000 plants of hydrangea in this area. They light up those flowers at night. So you can enjoy the night view also.
